Greve is in an area called “Gallo Nero” (black rooster) that today stands for the best quality Chianti wine. The hotel is situated in the main square of Greve in a charming old tower. The attractive lobby is adorned with an array of special objects from an Tuscan furniture collector. This type of arte povera furniture was used by farmers. The owner family, the Bussotti's, produce wine, extra virgin olive oil and grappa. Enjoy a leisurely swim in the pool which is 17m x 8m and a depth of 1.40m to 2.20m. Soak up the relaxing ambiance and sunbathe or have your lunch with a glass of Chianti wine.

Room information

The hotel features 16 en suite rooms which are all fully equipped with a host of modern comforts. Rooms offer privacy and an air of tranquility thanks to the fact that the hotel rooms are situated on the inner garden near the swimming pool.

Area information

-Take a stroll round the main triangular square of Greve which is a focus point for art exhibitions, summer festivals and the weekly market. -Visit the Castello di Verrazzano which is just 3km from the historical centre of the town. Follow the direction for Florence on SS222. Everyday at 11:00 a.m. ( excluding Saturday and Sunday ) there is a tour that starts from the castle and continues to the vineyards and cellars of Verrazzano. A light lunch with prosciutto, cheese and a wine tasting will be served in the castle terrace. The cost is EUR 30. -Embark on a walking excursion from Greve to Panzano. Panzano is a medieval town and can be reached within 40 minutes. Pass olive trees, vineyards, old farmhouses, cypress trees and some beautiful Chianti countryside. - Travel 15 km from Greve and there's a beautiful riding school where you can take a ride in the countryside.
