Castello di Selvole is a hill-top holiday tourist village situated 200 metres from Selvole villa, reception, wine shop winery and wine cellar. It consists of 3 old farmhouses that have been converted into 21 self-catering apartments for groups, couples or families with children.

Room information

Selvole features complete, private, self-catering apartments for 2 to 6 people. All the apartments are composed of bedroom/s, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. Please note: breakfast is not included. Bed linen and towels are provided and are changed regularly for stays longer than one week.

In the case of late arrival, Castello di Selvole recommends that you bring some food to prepare yourself a meal in your apartment on the first night. Selvole restaurant is 2 km from the hotel. During high tourist season, Selvole restaurant organises special dinners once a week in an historic wine cellar. Enjoy discounted rates on your first visit to the nearby restaurant, La Trappola, 2 km from Castello di Selvole. Here you can enjoy typical Tuscan cuisine.

Travel information

By Car: - Leave the Florence-Siena motorway at Siena Nord. - From the north, enter this road at Firenze Certosa: the A1 motorway. - From the south, take the Siena-Bettolle road up to Siena and then near Siena, take the orbital road until Siena Nord. - From Siena Nord, turn left taking the SS222 towards Castellina in Chianti. - After the 1st roundabout, go straight on and take the 2nd road on the right where there is a sign for Vagliagli. - After 8 km, just before arriving at Vagliagli, take the white dirt road towards Pianella, Pievasciata. - Keep going straight, after 2.5 km you will see the sign for Selvole on the left. - Enter the property, going past the tennis courts until you arrive in front of an iron gate and a villa. The reception is here. - We will accompany you from there to the holiday apartments. If you don't have your own car, you can ask the hotel to come and pick you up at Siena train station (for no more than 4 people + driver). Transfer service to and from Siena train station is on request only, in advance of your arrival date. The hotel kindly asks you to be patient especially during busy periods, for it is simply a complimentary service. Please note: the transfer service is not available on Sundays.
