Fattoria Querceto These ancient masoned buildings occupy the unique setting of the Pesa valley, where rows of vineyards gently mingle with the glow of olive groves. Querceto is divided into apartments of different sizes, all of which have been restored and furnished in the ancient style of the Tuscan countryside, respecting the architectural style of the period. The farmstead of Querceto is located close to the panoramic road which, starting from the hamlet of Romita, follows the crest until Montespertoli. Outside, among the olive trees, you can benefit from a tennis-court, bowling lane, swimming pool, mountain bikes, and the characteristic threshing floor: a place in front of the farmhouse where peasants used to meet.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Hotel information

The swimming pool is open from 15 May 2008 until 30 September 2008. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights and the Fattoria is closed during Winter.

Room information

Querceto is divided into apartments of different sizes, restored and furnished in the ancient style of the Tuscan countryside, respecting the architectural style of the period. The apartments are equipped with individual heating and with all modern comforts. The apartments look out over the swimming pool and the vineyards of the valley below. The 6 apartments contain one double bedroom; bathroom with shower; living-room with kitchen area and double sofa-bed. This apartment can accommodate 2-4 people. Please note, minimum stays apply during the following periods: From 23 June-25 August: 7 nights; From 6 January-23 June and from 25 August-21 December: 2 nights.

Area information

The farmstead of Querceto is located in the middle of a zone rich in areas of artistic and historical interest. It is only 20 km from the historical city of Florence, and 40 km from Siena. It is even nearer to many smaller places of no less beauty, which can easily be reached by public transport (the bus stop is only 100 metres away from the hotel). In the nearby villages are a variety of shops, typical arts and crafts studios as well as the weekly markets. Near the farm, there are many restaurants that serve traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Please note, check-in is from 15:00-19:00: for late arrival after 22:00, an additional cost of EUR 100 per apartment will be due.
