An 18th century villa located in the heart of Chianti, between Siena and Castellina. Today, Casafrassi has been restored in its original style as an attractive four star hotel. There are 25 rooms some in the original guest house (facing the main building), all with bath or shower facilities. Casafrassi is 10 km from Siena.

Casafrassi offre agli ospiti un ristorante elegante e raffinato ed un bar con terrazza esterna dotata di meravigliose viste panoramiche. Rilassatevi e gustatevi un drink ammirando le vedute panoramiche, mentre il rosso brillante dei fiori ondeggia dolcemente contro lo sfondo dorato del grano, in un gioco delicato di ombre tenui che danzano nel vento. La sera, sorseggiate un bicchiere di superbo Chianti Classico, mentre il sole si avvia a riposarsi sull'orizzonte solo per un secondo, un instante che apre le porte al tramonto. Lo staff esperto e scrupoloso garantisce un servizio attento e personalizzato, che soddisfa ogni esigenza dell'ospite. Il ristorante raffinato combina un alto livello di servizio professionale con una discreta convivialità. Si prega di notare che nei mesi di gennaio, febbraio, marzo, novembre e dicembre, il ristorante e il bar sono chiusi e, in tali mesi, l'hotel non offre la prima colazione. Tuttavia, l'hotel fornisce tutti gli ingredienti necessari per una tipica prima colazione all'italiana in camera, inclusi un bollitore con tè, caffè e cappuccino e croissant e fette di pane tostate con confettura.

Travel information

By car Hotel and Agriturism CASAFRASSI are situated along Chiantigiana roadway (S.S. 222),about 10 Km. from Siena and 7 Km. from Castellina in Chianti. From Siena, you have to take S.S.222 direction Castellina in Chianti, pass trough a little village called Quercegrossa, after about 1 km, you have to take the way in the right, and go straight on untill the top of the hill, where is situated Casafrassi. From Florence, at the exit Firenze Certosa, you have to take the highroad Firenze-Siena and to exit in San Donato, go straight on untill Castellina in Chianti, and then from Castellina, take the direction to Siena. After about 6 km, you will find on the right village Fonterutoli, pass trough the village and after 1 km take the way on the left, where is a legibly sign of Casafrassi. By air The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci in Florence, which is linked to the main airport in Europe. By train The nearest railway station is in Siena and in Florence; these one is linked to the other main stations in Italy. By bus It is possible to get Casafrassi with a bus (Sita) starting from Florence (bus station: Santa Maria Novella) in about one hour, and from Siena (bus station: San Domenico) in about 20 minutes.
