Fonte De' Medici Complex of hamlets and farmhouses, comletely immersed in the vineyards of Tignanello. Borgo Santamaria is the heart of Fonte de' Medici with its swimming pool, tennis court, wellness area, restaurant, rooms and suites. The proximity of both Florence and Siena, the beauty of the Chianti Classico countryside make Fonte de' Medici an incredibly "special choice for a special days". Fonte de' Medici comprises three clusters of wholly restructured and newly equipped farmhouses surrounded by the vineyards. The name itself goes back to 1400 when travelers between Florence and Siena would rest and drink from the spring that still passes through the village of Santa Maria a Macerata before continuing their journey to the nearby Badia a Passignano, then a powerful Benedectine monastery.

Winter Closing Time: November 6th to December 1st and from January 10th to February 8th. From November 6th till March 30th the Trattoria is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
