How to get to Chianti
By Car
From North
Take the highway A1 direction Florence. Go on toward Valdarno and exit in Montevarchi. Proceed along the state road Chiantigiana (SS 408) direction Gaiole in Chianti. Continue along the state road Chiantigiana until you get to the crossroad between Gaiole, Radda and Castellina in Chianti.
From South
Take the highway A1 direction Florence. Exit in Valdichiana, then follow the main road (Superstrada) Florence- Siena toward Siena. Exit in Castelnuovo Berardenga and take the state road SS 484 toward Gaiole in Chianti. Go on until you reach the state road SS 408. Follow the direction to Gaiole in Chianti until you reach the crossroad between Gaiole, Radda and Castellina in Chianti.
By Train
